This Privacy Policy explains how PDF Maker: Document Scanner (“the App”, “we”, “us”) handles information. By using the App you agree to this policy.

Documents stay on your device

Scanning, image-to-PDF conversion, text recognition (OCR) and PDF creation are performed entirely on your device. The documents, photos and PDFs you create are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded to our servers. We do not have access to the content of your files.

Information we process

• Usage & diagnostic data: anonymous app-usage events and crash/performance data to improve reliability.
• Device identifiers: used for analytics and, where applicable, advertising attribution. Not linked to your identity.
• Purchase data: subscription status is processed by Apple and our subscription provider to unlock premium features. We do not receive your payment card details.

Camera & photo access

The App requests camera access to scan documents and photo-library access to import images. These are used only to create PDFs on your device and for no other purpose.

Third-party services

We use standard analytics and subscription-management providers (for app analytics, crash reporting and in-app purchases). These providers process only the anonymous/technical data described above under their own privacy policies.

Data retention & deletion

Files you create live only on your device; deleting them in the App or uninstalling the App removes them. Anonymous analytics are retained only as long as needed to operate the service.

Children

The App is rated 4+ and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Your rights

Depending on your region (e.g. GDPR/CCPA) you may request information about, or deletion of, any data associated with your device identifier by contacting us.
